Understanding Density

Density is the amount of hair hand-tied to your Lace Wigs. Hair density refers to how thick OR thin the hair is. The hair density that you order is really based on personal choice and what looks best on you.

This density chart is just a guide to determine how much hair is used on the Full Lace Wig, Lace Closure or Lace Frontal and how full your lace unit will appear.

PLEASE NOTE:  All of our stock units are come with 130% - 180% Density.

DENSITY PERCENTAGES:

90% (Extra Light) Is ONLY recommended for those with thin or fine hair seeking to replicate an age-realistic look. This density is for those who want their hair to appear very light and thin. However when selecting this option please understand by choosing this light of a density the hair will bald very quickly and re-ventilation work will be required much sooner then any other density option.

100% - 110% (Light) This density is intended for those who have natural fine or thin hair and they want to mimic their natural texture. Light density can appear very natural but keep in mind there will not be a lot of hair will be on the cap.

120% - 130 % (Stock) This is a realistic looking density; it is not too thick, not too thin. It is a “normal” density. This is our stock density option. The hairline is ventilated with a light density then it fades to a slight thicker density throughout for a natural look and appearance.

150% (Medium) A nice density for ladies who want their hair to look natural with a little added fullness. A full style with a lot of bounce, body and flow.

180% (Heavy) Intended for persons who desires full and voluminous hair look. This density is heavy and for persons who like a very full style. ( Good for longer lengths)

200% (Extra Heavy) This density is very heavy. It is usually ordered by ladies who want their hair to look extra glamorous its mostly used for theater, costume wear and shows.

*It is generally better to have more hair than less because you can always thin it out. You will also have more hair to accommodate for normal shedding from daily grooming*
